  This is the exact same situation at the left turn on Hancock into the Quincy Center T station! I was almost hit by a car here at this intersection t Coddington as well. The cars don't notice that the pedestrians have a walk sign. It's only a matter of time until someone gets hit. The city planners need to review this ASAP!

  Thanks Benny-- yes, that is not the only one needing attention. In addition, the new crosswalk on Hancock in front of Presidents' Plaza is also problematic. After pressing the walk signal, it takes too long for the signal to turn for pedestrians crossing so many start crossing before the signal changes. Also, many cars go thru the quadruple red lights so even if a pedestrian waits for the signal, he or she is not safe. Too many jaywalk crossing Hancock making it like Frogger when driving. Maybe time jaywalkers and those cars running thru quadruple red lights, are cited?!
